Pee-Chee Portfolios

I have always been a sucker for a good school office supply - gold paper clips, fancy clipboards.  A few years ago I was talking with some friends and mentioned Pee-Chee folders.  They had no idea what I was talking about.  I couldn't believe it. 

 

These were the folders that, at the time, were the cheapest ones at the store but sturdy - so you mom made you get them.  We were usually allowed one extravagant folder (i.e., Lisa Frank with unicorns and/or pandas and/or rainbows, etc.) but as more and more folders were required we were sent to the Pee Chees.  Once the other colors were introduced it was like a whole new world opened up - now I could color code my folders and always know what color I needed for a class. 

 

Fast forward to present time - I was looking for a bottle opener and came across the online store Schoolhouse Electric Supply & Co.  I was perusing some of the categories and lo and behold they had Pee Chee Pocket Portfolios - I almost fell out of my seat.

For $7.00 you can get a whole set of five Pee Chee folders!  There are my old friends the football players and the track stars and inside there are still conversion and multiplication charts inside.

Under $20: Turquoise Party Supplies

I love a good party supply.  I like to have party supplies on hand at any time - just in case - and Shop Sweet Lulu has some of the cutest supplies around.  You can get a lot of supplies in different colors but the turquoise is so fresh for summer.  And the best part is that these are all under $20.  There are some pricier items at the site (my favorite being the pink porcelain cake stand) but most are pretty reasonably priced.  And there are a few surprises as well - who doesn't remember these. 

Happy Independence Day

Hope everyone has a great Independence Day.  It is one of my favorite holidays - there are fireworks, crazy outfits, parades, dogs in costumes, potato salad and the beach!  And a day off to boot.

Neon & Gold Office Supplies

I love getting new office supplies and especially when they come in some of my favorite colors - neon and gold!  If nothing else it inspires me to send some old-fashioned pretty snail mail.  And all at $20 and under you can pick out a few of your favorites.

Glittered Goodies

It's no secret that I love glitter.  I have about every set of Martha Stewart glitter that you could buy.  I love to make glitter crafts, send cards with glittle to my friends (which is not always as appreciated when the glitter comes loose), and I am constantly looking for more glittered goodies to add to my collection (or to try my own hand at).

I am a little obsessed with those glitter thumb tacks and I think they would brighten up a boring cork board.  And as for the glitter darts, I've been looking for a glitter dart board for some time now.  As for glitter party decorations - obviously a party is not a party without some glitter.
